"Every Single Item on the Menu Was DELICIOUS!"
I had Aruna Cafe take-out for the first time last Friday…every single item on the menu was DELICIOUS!! The quality and taste of the food were fantastic, the customer service was excellent, and the packaging was well and thoughtfully done for takeout, I can’t recommend ordering from them highly enough. 💯 🤩

“Great for catering!”
Chef Dhiru catered a dinner party for me and the food was fantastic! Dhiru was very easy to work with, helping me select a menu with an abundant amount of food that was within my budget. While all of the dishes were big hits, the curry leaf chicken appetizer really wowed everyone, and the rose chocolate torte was a memorable end to a delicious evening.

"I couldn't have been happier!"
Chef Dhiru catered a 40-person party for me and was a delight to work with. He was so helpful and committed to making sure it was a success. The catered food was outstanding (as it always is at Friday night take-out dinners) and generous in quantity. Many people came up to ask me where the food came from. I couldn't have been happier!

"Fresh, authentic, and a dream to work with!"
Dhiru Paulraj is such a talented and imaginative chef who brings a unique elegance and joy to South Indian cuisine. We hired him to cater our 140-person wedding. Chef Dhiru's menu was incredible: a thoughtful, flavorful, and authentic spread that folks with all palates and spice tolerances enjoyed. He took the time to understand what we wanted and was so easy to work with while keeping things real and within our budget. He incorporated our feedback, and when we asked him to make a Sri Lankan specialty he wasn’t as familiar with, he went above and beyond to ensure the recipe was perfect (and it was). I can’t believe we got to offer our friends and family this world-class Tamil cuisine in the middle of New Mexico. Our guests are still talking about the deep-fried idlis, chicken appetizers, and mini uttapam, as well as the lamb curry and kofta we served at dinner. Thank you, Marigold Kitchen!

Local Buzz About Chef Dhiru
“I think “UNIQUE FLAVOR” is the perfect phrase to describe Dhiru’s contribution to Santa Fe: collaborating with local organizations and catering events while also giving a taste of his inspired dishes to the public, in the form of a paper-bag dinner. A wonderful taste of India, yes, but also a distinct vision from a valued member of the community.“
